Articol: The synonymy of Macedonethes Buturović, 1955, described as a subgenus of Alpioniscus and subsequently considered by Tabacaru as a distinct genus, with Alpioniscus Racovitza, 1908 is argued, while Macedonethes skopjensis Buturović, 1955, considered as the type species of the genus, belongs to the genus Alpioniscus, as Alpioniscus skopjensis Buturović, 1955. Moreover, the authors argue that Macedonethes Buturović, 1955 sensu Ivo Karaman, 2003 (partim) = Alpioniscus Racovitza, 1908 while Macedonethes castellonensis (CRUZ & DALENS, 1989) = Alpioniscus castellonensis (CRUZ & DALENS, 1989). The validity of the genus Karamanoniscus Tabacaru, 2021, with the type species Macedonethes stankoi Karaman, 2023, is again endorsed based on differential characters in comparison with the other genera of the Trichoniscidae. The structure of the tribe Spelaeonethini Schmölzer, 1965 is analyzed.

Articol: The taxa included in Subtribus Sphodrina (Tribus Sphodrini) were very rarely mentioned in articles or faunal catalogues published for the Romanian fauna, some of them being recorded in underground environments (natural or artificial cavities). Other taxa were erroneously recorded for the Romanian fauna (Laemostenus capitaus, L. janthinus coeruleus), and others were omitted to be cited for the Romanian fauna (Taphoxenus gigas) in recent faunal catalogues. The presence of other species, which must be confirmed for the Romanian fauna (Laemostenus janthinus), or recorded in new geographical regions (L. janthinus, L. euxinicus) is discussed. In this article we made a brief analysis of the Romanian Sphodrinae fauna in a zoogeographical context, trying to highlight the systematic, faunal and protection problems raised by this interesting taxonomic group.

Articol: Zodarion morosum and Lessertinella kulczynskii are recorded for the first time in Romanian fauna. The species Palliduphantes milleri is reconfirmed. The new illustrations contribute to a better knowledge regarding morphological characterization of the species. The currently known distribution of this species in Romania is also given.

Articol: The authors present one oribatid mite species new for the Romanian fauna, found in Piatra Craiului Mountains. Jugatala cribelliger = Mycobates (Calyptozetes) cribelliger (BERLESE, 1904) is described using scanning electronic microscope images, with notes on its morphology, taxonomic status and distribution.

Articol: 23 species of Diplopoda are recorded from the poorly investigated region of the middle basin of the Argeş River, several species being recorded for the first time in this region while for other species like Rumaniulus mammosus it expands the known distribution.

Articol: In this paper we focus on some edaphic macroinvertebrates, Oniscidea, Diplopoda, Chilopoda and Symphyla, and their activity-density in relation with a short-term sampling protocol and a series of environmental factors. Our case study targeted the invertebrate community from Ivăneţu Massif near the Rupestral Assembly of Bozioru Mountains and tested the performance of direct sampling using tweezers, sifting leaf-litter with the Winkler sieve, extracting soil samples and using pitfall traps. In order to achieve a more realistic understanding of oniscidean and myriapod diversity patterns we recommend a combination of the abovementioned sampling methods.
